Peru and Liberia were selected as the countries to target with investments based on an analysis of the countries Kiva works in. Each class then identified the criteria for the entrepreneur and investment partner.

Peru:
*Either male or female entrepreneur
*Individual entrepreneur
*Any industry
*Characteristics of the partners: (a) 0-20% delinquency rate, (b) 0-0.20% default rate, (c) 9+ months with Kiva, and (d) 3-5 'star' risk rating
*Any size loan request from the entrepreneur
*Loan repayment to start anytime after loan disbursement

• Entrepreneur Selected --> Glicerio, an entrepreneur who will use the money to buy seeds and a bull

Liberia:
*Either male or female entrepreneur
*Either an individual or group
*Food/Bakery/Catering industry
*Characteristics of the partners: (a) 0-10% delinquency rate, (b) 0-1% default rate, (c) 24+ months with Kiva, and (d) 3-5 'star' risk rating (FYI - criteria (c) wasn't possible to meet because all the partners were pilot programs)
*Any size loan request from the entrepreneur
*Loan repayment to start w/in six months
