Investment in another entrepreneur - Peru

Using the money repaid by Glicerio, I applied the same criteria to invest in another entrepreneur's business. As a result one of the Fall 2009 classes invested in the cleaning and clothing business of Lucia, an entrepreneur in Peru. This investment finished up her loan request and the money is expected to be paid back over six months, starting in May 2010. Click here to get more information about Lucia and her business.

Repayment!

The God Creation Group in Liberia is well on their way to paying off their loan. Payments have already been received for February 2010 and March 2010. I expect to be looking for another entrepreneur or group of entrepreneurs to invest in sometime in April 2010.

Glicerio in Peru - Paid Off!

I just heard from Kiva that our loan to Glicerio in Peru was paid off...five months early! Now we'll have to figure out who to re-loan the money to.
